Robert and Danny are so great!! Excellent customer service, they helped me out when I definitely needed it! As a single working mom, such a huge deal! Would absolutely recommend, these guys are awesome!

Having to maintain a fleet of street sweepers is not easy. Having friends like Danny and Robert at Mr. Transmission makes life a lot easier. No surprises. They always keep me "in the loop", don't make repairs that are not needed, and even uses some of my old parts that I have on hand to save me money. I trust them completely and will continue to use them. Thanks guys!

Mr. Transmission went above and beyond the call of duty when my car ran into trouble. Besides being fast and efficient, Mr. Transmission worked around my tight Military schedule, getting my car expeditiously fixed while being upfront and transpartent. But where they truly exceeded expectations was a few months later. My car was deemed a total loss due to hail, and when I asked Mr. Transmission for an itemized invoice of the work done, they got this too me within hours, gaining me hundreds of dollars on the cars value. If I ever have any transmissions issues with any of my cars, I will gladly and readily take them to Mr. Transmission.

This is my first review I have ever done on any place. And I feel a very well deserved one. I have a long story to how I got in touch with Mr . Transmission but to keep it as simple as possible they are AMAZINGLY GREAT PEOPLE. Danny and all the staff are on the top of there game. Honest, Informative, and Extremely Caring. I've waited on writing this review as to see the workmanship and quality. They completely rebuild my transmission on a 2006 Nissan Quest. My vehicle was damaged due to a careless driver hitting the front end and breaking the transmission cooler line after the claim was made with his insurance 15 days had past not knowing that the line was busted. The insurance fixed and replaced the cooler and the line but did nothing to the transmission. A day or so after getting our vehicle back the van stopped shifting gears. So we called the insurance they said take it to a mechanic of our choice and they will send there assessment agent to see if they are in any way liable, we all know they will try and weasel out unfortunately. So we sent it to the nissan dealership and once they found out it was to be disassembled they told us we don't do that here. So the claims manager there told us he knew a good place that honest so I had to try it out seeing as the dealership is sending one of there regulars somewhere else.This just happened to Mr. Transmission. Never meeting them or even going to the shop we had our vehicle towed there my wife spoke to Danny over the phone and he said he will do his best for us. He was hand on with the whole situation he showed the agent the damage caused and they said they would replace the transmission brand new. None the less I knew I was going to have to fix it with or without the insurance companies help but with Danny on our side and putting in so much time and effort for people he only spoke to over the phone. He saved me from about 4 grand in repairs to only 600. If you have ever had transmission issues you know this is a true blessing. He guaranteed the work he we have taken it in already for its initial check up and she's running like new if not better. And we shall be return customer's for all our transmission needs. And as great as Danny was for us he point out a few issues that he saw while working on the van and pointed us in the direction of another great place that is just as fair and honest. And I'll be writing something for them also Broadway Tire and Auto. Sorry for making this so long but these guys deserve so much for how great they have been to us. Don't second guess you won't go wrong choosing Mr . Transmission I promise. My Family is SO Grateful!!!

I brought in a my old 1985 CJ7 Laredo, that I recently acquired through a friend. It had been sitting for a few years, but I got it now, and I'm starting to rebuild it. I knew the manual transmission was hurting bad, so I brought it to Robert at Mr. Transmission. I've read reviews and asked around, and all I heard was about Robert at Mr. Transmission. I must say, after it was returned to me, it felt like I was driving a brand new vehicle. I had to have the entire transmission rebuilt, because there was rust developing on the inside of the tranny, and have seals and U-joints replaced as well. Much of it was worn down or worn out, due to lack of love for this classic beast of a 4x4. Anyway, I couldn't be more happy. The vehicle is driving incredibly nice now. The transmission, as far as I can tell, is in perfect shape. It's like night and day. I have a bit of work done to the suspension, undercarriage, new tires, engine mounts, and so forth, then had some minor work done to the brakes and steering. Next was the transmission, and now it's ready to turn into the body shop. This CJ7 will look very nice once I'm done with it. Robert didn't feed me any crap, was straight forward and to the point, which is what I like when it comes to my vehicles. I would highly recommend Mr. Transmission. I have my 300 mile inspection coming up next week, so the Jeep can be looked at. I'm sure it's just to see if everything sealed correctly and there are no small issues that could turn into big issues later. Thanks Robert and the entire team at Mr. Transmission. I couldn't be happier.

Excellent Service!! Brought my truck here when the tranny blew up and rebuilt it!! Also had my axle rebuilt toooo! Amazing work. Just took it in because of vibrations thinking it was transmission; they said it was motor mounts. Went to replace them and they were destroyed!! They wont lie to you and they do excellent work!

I think most people feel uneasy when your car starts giving you problems.. the money, being without your car, finding a good shop - it's just not a good situation to be in. That's where I found myself a couple of weeks ago. My transmission started to go out on my Acura MDX and I wasn't able to drive home from work. I was in a panic being new to San Antonio and not knowing any good mechanics. Well, I'm certainly glad I found these guys! To keep it short, I'd only owned this SUV for a couple months - it shook at certain speeds and when braking and slipped of gear occasionally. It wasn't until the transmission was almost dead that I realized it was all connected. Picked up my vehicle today and it drives totally different and feels like a new truck. I couldn't be happier! Thanks so much Robert and the guys who took care of my car at Mr. Transmission. :)
