I think most people feel uneasy when your car starts giving you problems.. the money, being without your car, finding a good shop - it's just not a good situation to be in. That's where I found myself a couple of weeks ago. My transmission started to go out on my Acura MDX and I wasn't able to drive home from work. I was in a panic being new to San Antonio and not knowing any good mechanics. Well, I'm certainly glad I found these guys! To keep it short, I'd only owned this SUV for a couple months - it shook at certain speeds and when braking and slipped of gear occasionally. It wasn't until the transmission was almost dead that I realized it was all connected. Picked up my vehicle today and it drives totally different and feels like a new truck. I couldn't be happier! WOW! Mr. Transmission came on recommendation from my regular mechanic after my transmission stopped working. A tow was sent to my location within 1 hour of calling the shop and they had my vehicle in and diagnosed within 2 days. My car was in their shop for one week and the repairs were done right the first time. My car required a new transmission. It wasn't cheap, but the quality of the work done was top notch. AND the guys in the shop were knowledgeable, friendly and very professional.

I took my car into Mr. Transmission for an estimate. The mechanic was great! I was given an informitive explanation of what he felt needed to be done. The price was affordable, the work was finished quickly, and my car is running perfectly. I'll definitely be bringing my car back for any future repairs.

I'm a Hotshot Trucker and my 2001 F250 with the 4R100 went out, Danny O Rourke of MR Transmission was recommended by a local business. So I limped in and after his mechanic diagnosed the problem the tranny needed to be completely rebuilt. He beefed up the tranny with up grades and a Heavy Duty Billet Back torque converter and an external cooler. He had me back on the road in about 4 days, I now have about 80,000 miles on the tranny and it is still going strong, I do complete flushes on it every 30,000 miles. I am extremely satisfied with my service at Mr Transmission and would recommend them to anyone, I have called him a couple times with questions and he is always happy to take care me and spend several minutes with me on the phone to answer my questions. The guys there knew exactly what I needed, did not "oversell" me, took care of my truck quickly, and sent me on my way. I got great service from the friendly techs there.
