Danny and Rob over at Mr. Transmission have helped me out of with my 67 camaro build. They have gone above and beyond to install my brand new transmission, rear end and hydraulic clutch system. Cant describe in words the feeling I have to be able to drive my car with no concerns!

Vehicle: 2006 Dodge Sprinter van had been sitting with a dead transmission for 1.5 years. I personally towed the van to another local transmission shop for a diagnostic estimate for $145 (later found out Mr. Transmission's diagnostic would have been under $60). The repair estimate at the competitor's location STARTED at $3500 and added extras for the unknown. Not feeling comfortable with that location, for a variety of reasons, I had the van towed to Danny at Mr. Transmission's location on Austin Hwy in San Antonio, TX. I was received in a personal and professional manner...a handshake, eye contact, respect, conversational, and made me feel like a valued customer. Danny worked me into their schedule, got me a quick estimate of a range between $1800 for a basic rebuilt, and $2800 for a major overhaul. The 3 weeks they had the van (working me into their busy schedule and had a few set backs with vendor supplied parts), Danny kept me informed of the progress, allowed me to personally see the defective parts on the work bench after the transmission was removed, and informed me of a defective part from the manufacturer that required them to remove the transmission from the van a SECOND time at no additional cost to me. I could go on with more details of the rebuild, but long story short, Danny (and Rob) are two great guys and I am excited to have the Sprinter van back and the transmission is working like brand new. The total cost of my transmission overhaul (including a dealer item only copper tubing needed to compete the overhaul and approved by me prior to install) was $3000, including tax and shop supplies. I HIGHLY recommend Mr. Transmission and Danny for any and all of your transmission repair needs. I voluntarily share my experience and I'm honored to write this review for Mr. Transmission. Wow! When I heard that the problem with my car started with that dreaded "T" word, my stomach hit my feet! Then I met Robert! We discussed what repairs had been recently done to it and he gave it a thorough inspection. Throughout the coming days of repairwork, he kept me up to speed and when I happened to drop by he took the time to show me exactly what he was talking about. He allayed all my concerns and never took advantage to suggest unnecessary work. Robert even liased with the auto rental company when the public holidays where going to interrupt his schedule. My vehicle is due back for a follow up check soon but so far it is very driving well and not having any issues. I hope he does other work other than transmissions because I feel like my baby and I are in good hands at Mr. Transmission. See you soon and thanks again.

Took my truck in I was treated with respect but when I spoke with the man incharge he specifically told me what parts would be going into my transmission.when I went to pay, other parts that I never okayed of lesser quality were Installed and still charged me the same amount and truck wasnt fixed..

I was treated respectfully and with patience. Robert provided clear explanation of the issue and options. Service was completed quickly, and they offered a courtesy quality check after 300 miles. Very professional. I wish they offered more than a 12-month, 12,000 mile warranty.
